Taking top honors in Golf Digest's 2010 Hot List, this standard model Callaway Diablo Edge 3 fairway wood offers the longest, straightest drive yet from Callaway--with distance gains of 10 to 12 yards over the Big Bertha Diablo. It features a slightly larger clubhead, new, more aggressive VFT pattern on the face for improved performance, and a high MOI that positions more weight in the extreme perimeter of the club.
The Diablo Edge also comes in a Tour model, which possesses an extremely low and shallow center of gravity (CG) that provides skilled players with a club that will perform more to their liking.

Greater Forgiveness With more weight positioned in the extreme perimeter of the clubhead, Diablo Edge Fairway Woods have the highest moment of inertia (MOI) ever in a steel Callaway fairway wood. That means less clubhead twisting at impact and, therefore, greater forgiveness.
Callaway Core Technologies
With Standard and Tour models, Diablo Edge Fairway Woods are available in a look and performance that will suit any type of player. Standard models have slightly larger clubheads, while Tour models offer full hosels, less face progression and smaller, more conventional head shapes.

VFT Face Pattern
Delivering higher ball speeds for increased distance, the new, more aggressive VFT face pattern makes these fairway woods dramatically hotter. In woods, adjusting the face thickness with VFT Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness. The face is thicker in the center and ultra-thin around the edges, which allows more energy from the impact of the clubface to be transferred to the ball.
