Lighter, faster, and stronger, the Diablo Octane Driver from Callaway delivers more power and more distance on the course. Fueled by Forged Composite construction that is one-third the density of titanium, yet features a greater load carrying capacity per unit mass in bending, the Diablo Octane Driver boasts superior distribution of clubhead mass with 10 million turbostatic carbon fibers that reinforce 33 percent of the clubhead. As a result the Diablo Octane has a lighter clubhead that retains an extremely high moment of inertia (MOI). The lighter weight also allows for a longer shaft that generates faster clubhead and ball speeds--adding up to an average of 8 extra yards off the tee compared to the Diablo Edge Driver. In addition, Hyperbolic Face Technology improves impact efficiency across the entire clubface, producing a larger sweet spot that generates higher ball speeds even on mishits. Equipped with the Project X Graphite Shaft that maximizes the driver's performance and provides enhanced feel, the Diablo Octane Driver is the new force to be reckoned with on the course.

Forged Composite Construction:
The result of a unique partnership between the R&D teams of Callaway Golf and supercar maker Lamborghini, the Diablo Octane Driver is powered by a revolutionary new Forged Composite material that is one-third the density of titanium, yet features a greater load carrying capacity per unit mass in bending. The Diablo Octane crown contains 10 million turbostatic carbon fibers--500,000 per square inch--set with six tons of force during the forging process to reinforce 33 percent of the clubhead. These ultra-light, thin-walled components result in lower total head weight and optimized mass properties that make the Diablo Octane Driver lighter, faster, and stronger. The lighter clubhead still has an extremely high MOI and allows for a longer shaft that generates faster head and ball speeds for an average 8 extra yards over Diablo Edge Driver.

Hyperbolic Face Technology:
Hyperbolic Face Technology produces consistently high ball speeds for long distance, even on off-center hits and on shots hit across all areas of the driver face. Callaway produces these consistently high ball speeds by using a chemical reduction process to selectively remove excess material from areas of the titanium face for precision thickness control of the strategic hyperbolic shaping. This process dramatically improves impact efficiency and produces a larger sweet spot that generates higher ball speeds across the entire face for significant distance gains on off-center hits. With Hyperbolic Face Technology you'll get more consistency between the balls you hit in the center of the clubface--and the balls you don’t. In comparison to clubs without Hyperbolic Face Technology, the ball speed on off-center impacts will be noticeably greater--significantly contributing to total distance achieved on off-center hits.

Project X Graphite Shaft:
This longer, high performance shaft is designed as the ideal complement to the Diablo Octane Driver to maximize performance and enhance feel.

Fueled by Forged Composite. New Forged Composite is the lightest, strongest material we have ever used in golf clubs. The new Diablo Octane Drivers feature Forged Composite in the crown, giving them a significant performance advantage over all-titanium drivers. These drivers are configured to deliver unmatched power through superior design, construction and materials.
